The Best of Both Worlds: Discovering our Agia Paraskevi, Skiathos Location

Why choose between two of the best beaches in Skiathos when you can have both right at your doorstep?

Perfectly situated in a lush, pine-scented stretch, our Agia Paraskevi, Skiathos location offers the ultimate ‘sweet spot’ for your island getaway positioned right between two of the most beautiful beaches on the coast.. Located just 8km from the lively energy of Skiathos Town, our idyllic middle ground provides guests with a peaceful retreat, twice the dining options, and effortless access to the island’s most famous southern shores.

Two World-Class Beaches in Your Backyard

Staying with us means you are just a short, scenic stroll (or a quick 2-minute bus ride) from two distinct, spectacular bays:

  • Agia Paraskevi Beach: Heading slightly east, you’ll find the expansive, golden sands of Agia Paraskevi. Famous for its calm, crystal-clear waters, fully organized sunbeds, and excellent water sports center, it is a haven for relaxation. It is also highly accessible, featuring a SeaTrac system for wheelchair water access. You might even spot the resident family of swans that paddle near the freshwater stream!
  • Troulos Beach: Just down the road to the west lies the Blue Flag-awarded Troulos Beach. Beloved by families for its safe, shallow waters and natural pine tree shade, the bay is framed by the iconic Troulonissi (Dome Island) resting just offshore. It’s the perfect spot to rent a paddleboard, swim out to the islet, or simply soak up the sun.

Twice the Flavor: Local Dining & Culture

Because our Agia Paraskevi Skiathos location bridges the gap between these two charming areas, your dining and cultural choices are doubled.

  • Authentic Tavernas: Walk toward Agia Paraskevi for traditional slow-cooked kleftico under the trees, or stroll into Troulos area to enjoy fresh Aegean seafood with your toes in the sand at a beachfront restaurant.
  • Laid-back Evenings: Both areas offer a relaxed, welcoming nightlife. Enjoy a chilled cocktail at a beachside lounge or sample local wines without ever having to worry about a long taxi ride home.

Getting Around: Effortless Island Access at Bus Stop 17

Our Agia Paraskevi Skiathos location puts you in the perfect position to explore the rest of the island with absolute ease no rental car necessary!

  • Right Outside Your Door (Bus Stop 17): Our hotel is incredibly convenient, serviced directly by the Skiathos island bus at Stop 17. This drops you off practically at our doorstep and puts you in the perfect middle ground: a short walk or a one-minute ride to both the Agia Paraskevi hub (Stop 16) and the Troulos crossroads (Stop 18).
  • Close to the Action, Far from the Noise: Hop on the eastbound bus, and you are just a scenic 15 to 20-minute ride from the vibrant shops, romantic old port, and bustling evening energy of Skiathos Town (Stop 0).
  • Explore World-Famous Shores: Heading west, you are only a quick 10-minute bus ride away from the legendary white sands of Koukounaries Beach (Stop 26) and the lively Banana Beach. If you love nature, Stop 17 is also a fantastic launching point for scenic trails leading through the olive groves to the wilder, quieter northern beaches like Aselinos and Mandraki.

The July 25th Festival

The traditional stone Agia Paraskevi chapel nestled among mature trees near our self-catering accommodation Skiathos.

If you are staying with us in late July, you are in for a true cultural treat. The area is named after the historic chapel of Agia Paraskevi (located near Stop 16). Every year on July 25th, the area comes alive with a vibrant panygiri – a traditional Greek feast. It is a fantastic opportunity to witness colorful folk dances, listen to live music, and enjoy local food in a festive, welcoming atmosphere.
